Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

1. Who this covers

This policy explains how 24bookin (24bookin.com) handles data for Providers who sign up to run a shop with us, and for visitors to 24bookin.com itself. It does not cover how an individual shop handles its own customers’ data — that shop’s own privacy policy (linked in its booking page footer) covers that.

2. What we collect

Account details (name, email, business info) you give us at signup; usage data needed to run the service (bookings, services, working hours); and basic technical data (IP address, browser) for security and abuse prevention. Payment and payout details are never stored on our own servers — each Provider holds their own account directly with Stripe, so Stripe holds that data on the Provider’s own behalf, not ours.

3. How we use it

To run your booking page and process payments, to communicate with you about your account, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our own legal obligations. We do not sell Provider or customer data.

A small number of named 24bookin staff can view a Provider’s dashboard or a customer’s booking history in order to provide support, investigate a dispute or suspected fraud, or respond to a legal request. Every such access is logged with who accessed what and when, and is limited to what is needed for that purpose.

4. Cookies, analytics & search tools

We use Google Analytics to understand how 24bookin.com and shops’ booking pages are used — page views, traffic sources, and general usage patterns. It only runs after you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit; declining means it never loads. We don’t give individual Providers access to this data — it’s used by 24bookin to improve the platform as a whole.

We also use Google Search Console to see how 24bookin.com appears in Google Search results. It only reads data Google already collects by crawling the public web and doesn’t track individual visitors or set any cookies.

5. Who we share data with

We use a small number of specialist providers to run 24bookin — each only gets the data it needs to do its job, none of them can use it for their own purposes, and we don’t sell access to any of it:

  • A payment processor, for handling card payments and Provider payouts.
  • A database and account sign-in provider.
  • A hosting provider, for running 24bookin.com and storing uploaded photos.
  • A DNS and network security provider, filtering malicious traffic before it reaches us.
  • An email delivery provider, for booking confirmations and other account emails.
  • Google, for Analytics and Search Console — covered above.

Full names of these providers are available on request — email us using the details below.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to what we need to retain for legal/accounting reasons). Contact us using the details below. If you have a customer account, you can also do this yourself under My account → Account: “Download my data” and “Delete my account”. If a shop you booked with closes, your details at that shop are deleted 30 days later.

7. Contact

24bookin is a self-service platform and doesn’t offer live support — this address is for data requests under your rights above, not general help: privacy@24bookin.com
